LanGeek Website New Update: May, 2026

We have released a major new update on the LanGeek website.

This update expands the learning experience across languages and adds new tools designed to make vocabulary, grammar, reading, and pronunciation practice more complete and more practical.

Our goal is simple: to make LanGeek a more complete language-learning platform for learners at every level.

What’s New in This Update

This update includes:

  • expanded learning content across the website
  • reading, grammar, and pronunciation sections for all languages
  • new vocabulary categories
  • more translations for grammar and reading content
  • grammatical forms and word properties
  • a new grammatical forms exercise
  • key vocabulary sections for reading passages

Huge Content Expansion Across the Website

One of the biggest parts of this update is a major expansion of learning content.

All languages on LanGeek now include:

  • reading
  • grammar
  • pronunciation

We have also added new vocabulary categories, giving learners more structured ways to explore and practice words based on topic, level, and learning goals.

This makes it easier to build a complete study routine in one place:

  • learn vocabulary
  • understand grammar
  • improve pronunciation
  • practice reading with level-appropriate content

Expanded Translations for Grammar and Reading

We have expanded translations across the platform.

For popular languages, including:

  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Arabic
  • Japanese
  • Persian
  • Korean
  • Turkish

all intermediate-level English grammar lessons now include translations.

This helps learners understand grammar explanations more clearly, especially when studying more complex structures.

Reading passages for all languages now also include translations. This makes reading practice easier and more useful because learners can:

  • check meaning
  • understand difficult sentences
  • follow the passage with more confidence

This is especially helpful for learners who want to read in a new language but still need support understanding the full meaning of the text.

Grammatical Forms and Word Properties

A major new feature in this update is the addition of grammatical forms and properties for words.

LanGeek now shows important grammatical information depending on the type of word.

For nouns

Learners can now see information such as:

  • countability
  • plural form
  • grammatical gender, where applicable
  • animacy, where applicable

For adjectives

LanGeek now shows information such as:

  • comparative forms
  • gradability
  • comparability

For verbs

Learners can now see information such as:

  • important conjugated forms
  • auxiliary verb usage, where applicable
  • verb composition
  • other useful grammatical information depending on the language

This gives learners more than just the meaning of a word. It helps them understand how the word works in real sentences.

For many languages, knowing a word is not only about knowing its translation. Learners also need to know its forms, gender, plural, conjugation, and usage patterns. This update makes that information easier to access and easier to learn.

New Grammatical Forms Exercise

To help learners practice this new information, we have added a new grammatical forms exercise.

This exercise works in a flashcard-style format:

  1. Learners see a word.
  2. They try to remember its grammatical forms or properties.
  3. They check the correct information on the other side of the card.
  4. They choose whether they knew it or not.

This helps learners actively recall important word information instead of only reading it passively.

For example, learners may be asked to remember:

  • the plural form of a noun
  • the comparative form of an adjective
  • key conjugated forms of a verb

This makes vocabulary learning deeper and more practical, especially for languages where word forms are essential for correct usage.

Key Vocabulary for Reading Passages

Reading passages on LanGeek now include a key vocabulary section.

This section shows the most important words used in each passage.

Learners can study these words before reading, making the passage easier to understand. They can also add the words to their daily words system and learn them later as part of regular practice.

This feature connects reading and vocabulary learning more closely.

Instead of reading a text and struggling with unknown words, learners can:

  • prepare before reading
  • understand more while reading
  • review useful vocabulary afterward

A More Complete Learning Experience

This update is an important step toward making LanGeek a more complete and practical language-learning platform.

With expanded content, more translations, detailed grammatical word information, new exercises, and key vocabulary for reading passages, learners now have more tools to study languages in a structured and effective way.

We will continue improving LanGeek with more content, better learning tools, and features that help learners understand and use languages with confidence.
