These Terms explain the rules for using the LanGeek Community forum at:

1. About the LanGeek Community
The LanGeek Community is operated by LanGeek Technologies Inc., based in British Columbia, Canada.
The community is mainly for:
- reporting bugs
- sharing feedback
- suggesting ideas
- requesting features
- requesting content
- asking product-related questions
- discussing issues related to using LanGeek
Users may also ask questions related to LanGeek language content, but the community is not intended to replace LanGeek’s learning tools, lessons, dictionary, grammar content, or official support channels.
2. Relationship to the main LanGeek platform
These Terms apply only to the LanGeek Community forum.
The main LanGeek website, apps, accounts, subscriptions, purchases, payments, refunds, and services are governed by the main LanGeek Terms of Service.

If there is a difference between these Community Terms and the main LanGeek Terms of Service, the main LanGeek Terms of Service applies to the LanGeek platform, apps, subscriptions, purchases, payments, refunds, and account services.
3. Forum accounts
The LanGeek Community is connected to LanGeek accounts.
To use the forum, you may need to sign in with your LanGeek account. Some information from your LanGeek account may appear in the community, such as:
- username or display name
- avatar
- profile-related information
- account badges or status
- premium or subscription-related indicators, if shown by LanGeek
You are responsible for activity on your account.
Do not share your password or allow others to use your account.
4. Public posts
Most posts in the LanGeek Community are public.
Unless a post is made in a private staff area or another restricted area, other users may be able to view it.
Before posting, make sure your topic or reply does not include private or sensitive information.
5. Private account, payment, and purchase information
Do not post private account or purchase information in the forum
The LanGeek Community is not the place to handle issues that require private account information.
Do not post:
- passwords
- private email addresses
- payment details
- invoices
- order numbers
- screenshots showing account or payment information
- private account details
- personal information belonging to you or someone else
Issues related to purchases, subscriptions, refunds, invoices, account access, and payment matters are handled through the LanGeek platform or LanGeek’s official support process, not through public forum posts.

LanGeek may remove or edit posts that contain private or sensitive information, but LanGeek is not responsible for information that users choose to post publicly.
6. What you can post
You may use the LanGeek Community to post:

7. What you may not post
You may not post content that includes or promotes:

- adult or sexual content
- malware, phishing, or harmful links
- scraping, automation abuse, or attempts to disrupt the forum
- impersonation of another person, company, or LanGeek staff member
- private account, payment, or purchase information
- personal information about another person
- copyright-infringing material
- unrelated advertising or self-promotion
- homework, essay, or assignment completion requests
- general language-learning questions that are not related to LanGeek content
- content that is abusive, misleading, disruptive, or unrelated to the purpose of the community
LanGeek may remove content that violates these rules or does not fit the purpose of the community.
8. User content and submissions
When you post in the LanGeek Community, you understand that your content may be viewed by other users.
By posting content, including bug reports, feedback, ideas, feature requests, content requests, screenshots, examples, replies, or other submissions, you give LanGeek permission to:
- display it in the community
- store it
- moderate it
- edit formatting, titles, categories, or tags
- move or merge it with similar topics
- quote or reference it when responding to users
- use it to improve LanGeek products, services, content, and support processes
LanGeek may keep forum records, logs, backups, and moderation history as needed to operate and protect the community.
9. Feedback, ideas, and feature requests
The LanGeek Community is designed to collect user feedback and ideas.
By submitting feedback, ideas, suggestions, feature requests, content requests, or improvement proposals, you agree that LanGeek may use them without:
- payment
- credit
- permission
- approval
- obligation to build or release the idea
Submitting an idea does not mean LanGeek promises to develop it, release it, or keep it available.
LanGeek may decide whether to review, use, reject, merge, modify, or ignore any suggestion.
10. Editing and deleting posts
Users may be able to edit or delete some posts depending on forum settings.
However, there is no guaranteed deletion of forum content after it has been posted, especially if:
- other users have replied
- the post is part of a discussion
- the content is needed for moderation, security, records, or community operation
- the content has been quoted or referenced by others
LanGeek may also keep backups, logs, and moderation records.
11. Moderation
The LanGeek Community is moderated by LanGeek staff.
LanGeek staff may take actions including:
- editing topic titles
- editing categories or tags
- hiding posts
- removing posts
- closing topics
- merging duplicate topics
- moving topics to a better category
- removing sensitive information
- restricting accounts
- suspending accounts
- deleting accounts
- taking other actions needed to protect the community
Moderation is used to keep the community useful, safe, organized, and focused on improving LanGeek.
12. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was made by mistake, you may contact LanGeek:

- your forum username
- the topic or post involved
- a short explanation of why you think the decision should be reviewed
LanGeek may review appeals, but submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a moderation decision will be changed.
13. Account restrictions and removal
LanGeek may restrict, suspend, or delete forum accounts that violate these Terms, community guidelines, or the purpose of the forum.
This may happen if a user:
- posts prohibited content
- repeatedly posts in the wrong place
- harasses other users
- abuses the forum
- attempts to disrupt the community
- impersonates others
- shares private or sensitive information
- violates LanGeek rules or policies
14. Privacy
The LanGeek Community may use information from your LanGeek account to operate the forum.
